A whole day, full of exercise and learning!

Training and Enrichment Days provide mental and physical stimulation for each dog. They include a minimum 2 hour trek & train adventure, one-on-one structured training sessions, treadmill training/exercise, free time outside to let loose and socialisation to the degree suitable for each dog.

T&E days are suitable for dog social, neutral or tolerant dogs. During our trek and train adventure, we are working on leash skills, obedience in stimulating environments, social skills, manners and impulse control.

Then we go to a location where each dog gets a one on one training session. The training sessions are specialised for each individual dog’s needs and generally cover things like: training foundations (learning how to learn, motivators, markers, training cues), obedience, confidence building, tricks, lifestyle manners, scent work, and more complex skills as the dog develops.

Each dog will get free time to play and sniff in a yard with the other dogs or catered to their needs. For example, if shy dogs need a slow introduction, they will get their own free time to watch and meet other friends one at a time. Or if certain dogs prefer particular playmates, there may be a couple of different play groups.

Everyone will get another one on one training session to build their confidence on the treadmill. This takes focus and concentration to learn, and is a great tool for both mental and physical exercise as they build their confidence!

The day includes pick up and drop off. Pick up is between 9-10:30am. Drop off is between 3:30-5pm. That’s up to 8 hours out of the house and being stimulated for your dog!

T&E days are currently on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Lots of treats given throughout the day, so don’t feed you pup breakfast!

Prices:

$250 per day

5 session pack = $1125 (225 per day) 3 month expiry

10 session pack = $2000 (200 per day) 6 month expiry

*Packs must be purchased prior to sessions used.

I require a 30 minute in-home meet and greet, prior to confirming T&E bookings. This is to assess that each dog is suitable for the service. Also to get access instructions. Meet and greet cost is $40. If you have already had a private consult, the meet and greet isn’t necessary.

Only four T&E dogs are accepted on each day to give each dog the attention they need, so it is advised to book ahead to secure your spot. Regulars will take priority.

Cancelations made less than 48 hours prior to 9am on T&E day, will incur a 50% of total booking payment.
