Lionheart Training & Enrichment Services

Hello, I, Jordan, am a professional dog trainer. I have my four border collies Leo, Grace, Theodore and Odette, who have been with me through it all. They are wonderful dogs, who I believe showcase the perfect balance of work, play and companionship, that the breed can offer. Raising and training young pups is my passion, along with servicing the local community with their training needs. I have worked in the industry for 12 years, with my experience involving kennel tending, behaviour modification, obedience, boarding, daycare, board & trains, sports skills, puppy rearing, herding, grooming, breeding, online coaching, rescue and making leashes! My four dogs and I have recently moved back to Canberra, Australia, after spending 5 years in the USA. We are ready to build our life here again.

Having a deep background in dog training and husbandry, allows me to service the community in many different ways. I believe developing dogs takes a holistic approach. To value each dog as an individual, meeting their biological needs and building their skills; while supporting their owners to find the magic in dog ownership, is the longest lasting path to a healthy companionship.

The name Lionheart came from my boy Leo and the attributes we strive for. I would always call him Leo the Lion and Lionheart Leo as a pup. Some lionheart characteristics I aim for in our Lionheart family are to have heart, strength, courage and bravery.
